Data Controller
PageTech Solutions Limited ("I", "me") is the data controller for information collected through this website. You can reach me via the contact page.
How this website and Microsoft Bookings work together
This website is used for service information and initial enquiry. If you choose to book a consultation, you may be redirected to Microsoft Bookings: Free 20-minute consultation booking page.
Microsoft Bookings is a Microsoft-hosted page. Google tags, GA4, and Google Tag Manager scripts from this website do not run on Microsoft Bookings pages. Completed booking measurement is therefore handled via first-party capture on this website and server-side conversion submission.
Information I Collect
- Information you provide directly via forms and correspondence (name, email address, company, and message content).
- Technical data processed via standard server logs (IP address, browser type, pages visited) for security and operational purposes.
- Advertising attribution information collected on this website where consent is granted, such as Google Click ID (gclid), landing page, timestamp, and an internal first-party lead/session identifier.
- Booking information submitted through Microsoft Bookings (for example name, email address, and appointment notes) for scheduling and response handling.
Legal Basis for Processing
I process personal data under the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018, on the basis of legitimate interest (responding to enquiries, scheduling consultations, and operating the website securely), and where applicable steps at your request before entering into a contract. Optional advertising measurement, including Google Ads conversion cookies and Enhanced Conversions, is processed on the basis of consent.
Use of Information
I use information to respond to enquiries, schedule consultations, provide services, improve website performance, measure advertising effectiveness (where consented), and protect against abuse. I do not sell your personal data.
Ads and web analytics tracking
This website uses consent-aware tracking technologies, including:
- Google Ads tag ID: AW-18030475098
- Google tag ID: GT-WRGF2GZZ
- Google Analytics (GA4) measurement ID: G-QCFSG1V45L
- Cloudflare Web Analytics: privacy-first, cookie-free aggregated page analytics
Optional advertising cookies and related attribution storage are only used where you have granted marketing consent. If you reject or withdraw consent, optional advertising measurement is disabled.
Remarketing
This website uses Google Ads remarketing features, which allow my ads to be displayed to people who have previously visited this website. This uses cookies or similar identifiers to recognise prior visits and show relevant ads across Google's advertising network, where marketing consent has been granted.
You can also opt out of Google's personalised advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings.
Enhanced Conversions for Leads
Where consent has been granted and you provide an email address, I may use Enhanced Conversions for Leads to improve Google Ads conversion measurement quality.
In plain terms, this means first-party data such as email address is normalised and protected before sharing for measurement. The process is:
- trim leading and trailing spaces,
- convert to lowercase,
- apply SHA-256 hashing.
This data is used for conversion measurement and campaign optimisation only. It is not sold and not shared for other parties' independent marketing.
Microsoft Bookings data use
If you book through Microsoft Bookings, you may submit personal data such as name, email address, and booking notes. This information is used to schedule and deliver consultations, and to respond to your enquiry.
Because Bookings pages are Microsoft-hosted, this website does not inject Google Ads, GA4, or GTM scripts into those pages. Completed booking conversion reporting is performed server-side using first-party website signals captured before redirect.
Consent and how to withdraw
You can manage optional tracking using the cookie controls available on this website. If you withdraw consent, optional advertising storage and related conversion measurement are disabled going forward. You can also manage cookies in your browser settings.
Data Retention & Security
I retain personal information only for as long as necessary to deal with your enquiry or to comply with legal obligations. I take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect data against unauthorised access, loss, or destruction.
Records Retention
I apply the following retention periods to different categories of records:
- Enquiry correspondence — retained for 12 months after the enquiry is resolved, then securely deleted.
- Engagement and contract records — retained for 6 years after the end of the engagement, in line with HMRC requirements and the Limitation Act 1980.
- Invoices and financial records — retained for 6 years as required by Companies Act 2006 and HMRC.
- GDPR / data rights requests — retained for 3 years from the date of the response, to demonstrate compliance.
- Server logs — retained for no more than 90 days, then automatically purged.
- Advertising attribution records (first-party) — retained for up to 14 days for booking conversion matching, then deleted or anonymised.
- Hashed enhanced conversion identifiers — retained only as long as needed for conversion submission and reconciliation.
At the end of each retention period, records are securely deleted or anonymised. If you believe I hold data beyond its retention period, you may request erasure via the contact page.
Third Parties
Where I use third-party services (for example, hosting providers or email providers), they may process limited data to deliver those services. I review providers for appropriate data-protection safeguards.
Your Rights
Under UK data-protection law (UK GDPR) you have the right to:
- Request access to your personal data
- Request correction of inaccurate data
- Request erasure of your data
- Restrict or object to processing
- Data portability (where applicable)
- Withdraw consent for optional advertising measurement at any time
To exercise any of these rights, contact me via the contact page. I will respond within one calendar month.
Complaints
If you are not satisfied with how I handle your data, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO).
Changes to this policy
I may update this policy from time to time. The "last updated" date at the top of this page will be revised accordingly.
